News and Brews Pouring Out of Wolverine

Things are moving fast at Wolverine State Brewing. Here's a concise summary of everything that's going on at 2019 W. Stadium courtesy of the Beer Wench herself, E.T. Crowe:
The Wolverine State Brewing Co. has received TTB approval on the new and improved Wolverine Premium Lager label (see above). Bottling for this best-selling premium lager will begin at Wolverine's new Ann Arbor facility in mid-May, ending the contract brewing arrangement with Michigan Brewing Company.

The label for Wolverine Dark Lager has been submitted for approval. Plans are to commence bottling this dark American lager in August.

The Wolverine State Brewing Company has a 10 bbl system and specializes in brewing lagers. The Tap Room has 10 full taps, seating for 100, foosball, darts, a live music program, and is adding outdoor seating soon. Food from various local vendors is available for delivery and many nights food vendors are on premise with items available for purchase.

Sales since opening have exceeded all plans and the company has purchased two new 10 bbl fermentation vessels and a 10 bbl bright tank to go with the new Merlin bottler from Meheen Manufacturing.

Mug Club membership exceeds 400 and a six-month anniversary Mug Club Appreciation Day (May 8), with great beer discounts for Mug Club members, and a Real Women Drink Beer Ladies Only Night in the Tap Room (June 12) are on the calendar.

The new small batch The Brewer's Whim (@thebrewerswhim) program begins this week with Faust's Hell, a blend of Baltic porter and unfiltered maibock. The bourbon barrel aging for 'Round 12 Dunkel continues and will be released @thebrewerswhim (and announced via Twitter).

Plans for expanding the Tap Room are also in the works.
