Founders, New Holland, Brewery Vivant at Ashley's

Hanging with Founders co-owner Dave Engbers.
Ashley's in Ann Arbor is featuring some amazing beers from three different breweries in the coming weeks, so listen up!

First is tonight's timed release party of several heavy-hitting, butt-kicking ales from Founders. At 6pm, Backwoods Bastard Bourbon Oak Aged Scotch Ale will be tapped.  At 7, Black Biscuit Old Ale is up. And finally, the highly sought-after KBS (née Kentucky Breakfast Stout) will flow like manna from heaven at 8. Also on tap: 2010 Nemesis Barleywine, Old Curmudgeon Old Ale, Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale, Red's Rye PA, and the old standby Pale Ale.

June 7 is Hatter Days, with six different incarnations of New Holland's Mad Hatter IPA on tap, including the original, Oak Aged Hatter, Imperial Hatter, Black Hatter, Rye Hatter, and the new Farmhouse Hatter. The fun begins at 5pm.

New Holland co-founder Jason Spaulding's new venture, Brewery Vivant in Grand Rapids, will be the focus of a June 14 release party. Details of which beers will be on hand TBD. Mark your calendar!
